Mine Little Watchmans

This is the finished, painted version of the sketch of my oc Sasha I had uploaded previously: fav.me/d6heo21

Before I started coloring I fixed up the anatomy some and lengthened her torso a bit as I felt to do and as was advised by a couple of my watchers. She's now much more lithe looking, but still possesses the bulk and mass I wanted to keep in. I also repositioned her for better composition. One big thing that makes a huge departure from my usual work is that I actually used several layers for this picture; normally I don't use layers at all. They were useful for this painting though because it kept me from having to color around objects for background/foreground objects, but other than that, they were sort of in the way and felt cumbersome to use. TIP: Don't forget to make sure you're drawing on the correct layer! I screwed up several times and thought I was drawing on the lineart layer when I was drawing on the background, etc. Pay attention!

Not much else for me to say really; the final product came out considerably different than the initial sketch, which is always interesting with art. This sure was fun!
