~*~*~COMMISSION INFO~*~*~
I've decided to make commission work available to those on DA who would like to make use of the service. I offer quality work at affordable prices.

The information as a whole is divided into sections (as shown by the stars around the title of that section) for your convenience. I know it's alot to read, but please read and bare it. It will help remove any confusion, will keep me from having to repeat myself, and it will answer most questions you may have all in one shot (which is why it's so thorough).

I look forward to working with you!

~*~*~COMMISSION SLOTS/AVAILABILITY~*~*~
*For an up to date listing of commission slots and waiting lists, check out the footer of my latest journal entries.*
I currently have
1 slot available. The status of the slot will be next to the slot number in bold type. For the time being, it will be the only slot, and I will only take one customer at a time. If there is room for me to handle multiple commissions simultaneously in the future I will add additional slots. Below the slots is a waiting list. This list represents individuals wishing to commission me in the order their request was received. When you see N/A (not applicable) or VACANT it means there is currently no one waiting. For now, I will only accept a wait list of up to
3 people. If the wait list is full, please wait until there is a slot available to submit a request.
~*~*~THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE COMMISSIONING ME~*~*~
1.) ANIME ONLY!All of my commission work is assumed to be drawn in the
anime style. Simply put, please
do not request me to draw anything but japanese anime style commissions
unless I state that I am willing to draw from another genre. You may request non-anime characters, series, etc., but they will be drawn anime style. Keep that in mind. Original characters and fanart are also acceptable.
2.) I WILL ONLY DRAW IN MY STYLE!Also understand that I draw in my own style(s), and these are reflected in all my work. As such, please also
do not request that I draw in
someone else's style or use their techniques. Not only would that impede my own techniques and way of working, but it's also pretty rude, so please don't ask!
3.) DIGITAL WORK ONLY!All of my commission work (unless otherwise stated, offered, or possible) will be done on my computer using the programs Painter IX and Photoshop CS 2 (Painter is my preference, in case you're wondering).
As this is the case, please be aware that in commissioning me you will not actually receive a physical drawing in the mail. Your commission will be digital (obviously!) and it will be sent to you via e-mail, in the form of an attachment. While there will be times your commission may actually start off on paper with pencils and ink ('traditional' ) the final product you ordered will be completed in one of the above mentioned programs and then sent to you.
~*~*~COMMISSIONS LIST~*~*~
Below will be listed the types of commission work I am currently offering. With them are a description of what that type of picture entails and some samples (if available) of that type of work. Please note that the samples
DO NOT necessarily reflect the actual quality you will get (if anything, they will be better). They are only a visual means of understanding what is being offered.
Also note that a commission, of any type, only includes 1 character and no background Additional characters and backgrounds may be purchased for an extra charge. (see price list below)
SKETCHES
Description:Sketches are usually unrefined (and sometimes messy) pictures wherein my effort is merely to express an idea, concept, or emotion in it's simplicity, rather than focus on quality, accuracy, technicalities or completeness.
Do note, however, that sketches can be detailed as well and can vary in quality.
Samples of sketches:

LINEART
Description:Linearts are refined, finalized, complete pictures of their subjects/objects that are inked and ready for any further process or editing (such as coloring). Unlike with sketches, lineart produced work focuses primarily on quality, yet still retains the original concept and theme.
Samples of linearts:Because all of my gallery includes either finished pieces, sketches, or WIPs (works in progress), I do not have any linearts to use as examples at this time. I apologize for this inconvenience and will upload linearts when they are available.
COLOR PICTURES
DescriptionColored pictures are exactly that- lineart that is colored. The commissioner will be presented with a decent color job. Colored pictures offer the commissioner subjects/objects that are more lively, have a greater depth, and more personality.
Samples of color pictures:

PORTRAITS
Description:Portraits are the best pieces I can be commissioned to create. Attention even to the most minute detail is one of the cornerstones of my portrait work. When you commission a portrait from me, you can rest assured you will receive high-quality imagery with brilliant colors to match. You can't go wrong with a portrait!

~*~*~RESOLUTIONS (SIZES) LIST~*~*~
Part of any commission includes deciding on how big you want the picture to be. Afterall, not all commissions are well suited to large resolutions/dimensions and vice versa.
Below are the 3 basic resolutions I work with on a regular basis, provided with samples and a description. Please note that
your actual commission may turn out smaller or larger than the dimensions specified below. For example, if you add additional characters, it may become necessary for me to increase the resolution in order to accommodate that character. Likewise, it may be necessary or ideal to crop or reduce the resolution for better balance and monitor considerations.
In any event,
please be aware that when this happens you are not being charged extra for size increases nor is the cost being lowered for you when resolution is reduced.
Resolutions/Sizes

500x700 (small)
Description:500x700 pictures are good choices for single characters, sketches, lineart (with or without color), chibis, and small portraits.

800x1000 (medium)
Description:800x1000 pictures are good choices for two characters, larger sketch-work, medium-sized portraits and larger lineart (with or without color) that may include a background.

1000x1000 (large)
Description:1000x1000 pictures are the most versatile and are best suited to portraits, landscapes, large, detailed backgrounds (if added), and multiple characters. They allow for hi-res quality imagery and up-close details. Definitely worth it.

~*~*~HOW TO MAKE A COMMISSION REQUEST~*~*~
To make this as easy as possible, please follow the following steps for filling out a commission request. An example commission request and total will be listed thereafter.
STEP 1:Create a note, and briefly describe your idea/request to me. Be sure to include character names, and any series they may be from. Please also include a link(s) to reference pictures (preferably from the official artwork, if available).
As far as character descriptions, which are very important to me, I find that Wikipedia is a good choice for linking me to this information and I recommend it. You may use another site for the actual pictures. Screencaptures or scans from the actual show(s) manga(s), etc., are acceptable if nothing better can be found.
STEP 2:Choose your resolution (image size)
(Try and image how close and how far you want objects/people, how many people there are, and take into account the background, if any, when making this decision).
STEP 3:Choose your commission type (lineart, etc.)
(This is totally up to you. You get what you pay for. Aside from this, consider what type of effect or impression you want the picture to have. A picture without color may not be good enough to express your idea. Similarly, a portrait may be overkill and unnecessary.)
STEP 4:Choose any extras
(This is perhaps the most important step, as it will influence the overall fee I will charge you. More characters and a background is more money. If you're on a budget, try and balance what you want with what you can afford.)
STEP 5:Look to see if the commission slot is open. If it is not, and there is room on the waiting list, you will be placed here.
(If neither is available, I would suggest saving your commission request info for a later date.)
STEP 6:If the slot is available or there is waiting space, send me the
NOTE with the title "
Commission Request"
Make sure that the note contains the following information:
- Brief description of commission request
- At least 1 link to some (preferably) official artwork of characters for my reference.
- Desired resolution
- Desired picture type
- Any extras you wish you purchase
STEP 7:Wait for a response from me. I will respond to tell you I'm either interested or am not interested.
If I am interested, I will ask specific questions about your request, and will quote you a total price, which you will then confirm to me so that I know you understand the amount you'll be paying. When we've reached this conclusion and I understand what you want, I will add you to the commission slot (if it is vacant) or to the wait list (if there is space).
If there is neither sufficient space nor a slot available I will inform you of this, and then it is up to you to keep track of my commission slots and commission waiting lists, waiting for an opportunity to be added to them later.
If I am not interested, I will decline your offer. You are free to make another request at a later time and repeat the process again.
Example of commission request:Hello,
I would like to commission you to draw Sakura Haruno from the anime series Naruto.
I want to order an 800x1000 (medium) Color Lineart with a Background and 1 extra character.
I would like a picture of Sakura (Shippuden version) using her strength to punch down a door while Naruto is behind her with a scared look on his face, afraid of her strength. I want the picture to be comical, and the facial features exaggerated like a cartoon character. I want them to be in a dimly lit room, like they're in a dungeon or enemy hideout. Overall, I want the picture to have a serious, yet comical tone.
Here is her bio:
[link]Here are some pictures:
[link]Example of total this request might cost you:1.) 800x1000 image = $10
2.) Color picture = $18
3.) Background = $6
4.) 1 additional character = $7
TOTAL = $41
~*~*~PAYMENT/DRAWING INFORMATION~*~*~
Below are the directions for the payment and drawing process and my policies for payments made for commission work.
"Half now half later"This is how the process of paying me works. Upon accepting your commission, providing you are in the active commission slot(s) you are to pay me
HALF of the total cost of your commission UPFRONT!In the notes, I will provide you with my
PayPal address.
When I confirm that the exact amount of funds have been sent to me, I will begin drawing you up to three rough sketches based on the description you gave me for your commission, which I will then send you via e-mail. Each of these rough sketches will be similar, but different and will be so to offer you a variety of visual directions. When you agree upon the one that is closest to your idea, I will use this sketch as a reference point, in order to help me draw as close to what you wanted as possible.
When I am
FINISHED with your commission, I will reply to you, via a
note, informing you that I am finished. When you receive this note, respond to it, and then send me the
OTHER HALF of the funds.
When I confirm that I have received the total sum, I will then send your order to your e-mail address. When you confirm your picture has been received, I will then post it here, on deviantart, and perhaps other art-relevant forums or sites I choose to advertise with.
PAYMENT OPTIONSAt this point and time, I am only able to accept
Paypal transactions. This may change in the future, so be sure to re-read this section occasionally.
CANCELING/ABANDONING COMMISSIONS, REFUNDS, ETC.
Customers who desire to cancel a commission for a
FULL refund may only do so
BEFORE I provide them the rough sketches. Cancelations that are made promptly and quickly in this manner will receive a
FULL REFUND provided this condition is met.

Customers who cancel their commission
AFTER or DURING the time I am drawing the rough sketches will receive a
PARTIAL refund only. This will roughly be one half of the upfront payment I received.

Customers who cancel their commission while I am already working on the actual commission piece
ARE NOT ELIGIBLE for a refund. I will keep the half you paid me upfront as compensation for my time and effort.

Customers who abandon a commission, do not keep in contact with me, or try to con me in any way, either directly or indirectly, will be put on my
BLACK LIST and will not be allowed to commission me again. In addition, I will keep whatever money I am owed at that point.

If at any time during the drawing process I no longer wish to continue the commission work, or am no longer able to, for whatever reason, I reserve the right to cancel it.
The customer will receive a
FULL refund in this scenario, and I reserve the right to finish the artwork as a non-commission work at any point and time, and to distribute, share, and use it for advertisement purposes, as I would with a fully-paid commission.
~*~*~DO NO REQUEST LIST~*~*~
To save us both time, please
do not request any of the following (this list may be updated at any time) :
- Hentai
- Satanic/Occult or "New Age" themes/images
- Blasphemous/racist imagery/themes
- Extreme fetishes (severed limbs, BDSM, etc.)
- Homosexual acts/themes
- Anything that would directly violate the DA Terms Of Use Policy
If you are unsure whether your request is acceptable, feel free to note me, making this inquiry (preferably BEFORE you even consider commissioning me).
Thank you for taking the time to read this, I look forward to working with you!

Devious Comments
I did this all yesterday evening and it lasted until 1 in the morning, and I've been going back in and editing the typos and such! What a pain in the ass! I deserve to be commissioned just for going through that ordeal!
Yeah, I'd recommend trying to sell it here, for example, because then you'd be getting advertizement out of it too and that might eventually get you more customers.
i wish i have payl,oo >_<
